Curriculum planning
1. Our curriculum is designed in accordance with the KG EDB Curriculum Guide, which encompasses the six learning domains.
2. To promote a whole-person development through diverse learning activities.
3. To encourage children to explore and discover through activities which are life-oriented and address the development needs of our children.
4. Through the purposefully designed learning activities, positive values and attitudes are cultivated.
5. To promote the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of children through our school-based religious curriculum and worship.
6. To lay a solid foundation for our children’s learning in Chinese and English languages and mathematics, to ensure a smooth transition to primary school.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
1. In the current year, we have 28 NETs and 34 NPTs to create a language-rich environment to enhance our children's ability and confidence in reading, writing, listening, and speaking English and Putonghua.
2. Awards are set up to encourage children to listen and speak English and Putonghua often.
3. To promote and cultivate a habit of reading both at school and at home as parent-child reading time is considered essential.
4. Thinking tools such as the questions words (5W1H) are used, encouraging children to ask questions, stimulate their thinking, arouse their curiosity, and establish their interest and confidence in learning.
5. To provide children with hands-on learning experiences, stimulate their learning motivation, and cultivate their ability for independent learning.
6. To organise special school-based activities such as Chinese Cultural Day, International Cultural Day, and Sports Day to help children learn through firsthand experiences.
7. To promote mathematics and STEM education to children at early age, helping them to develop problem-solving skills and self-fulfillment abilities.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
1. To continuously observe and evaluate children's learning progress in the six learning domains and record them in the Child Development Portfolio.
2. Through close communication between teachers and parents, children's learning progress and strategies to enhance skills and competences are discussed and proposed.

Joining the On-site Pre-school Rehabilitation Services. As soon as students with special learning needs are identified, the school will go through a process of intervention, counseling and referral. To make tiered teaching materials to cater for the learning needs of these individual students.
