Curriculum planning
|
We also arrange spiral curriculum to help children acquire knowledge. Centred on children, we implement comprehensive curriculum and train independent learning ability to help develop a good learning attitude and character. To develop knowledge and values in children, experiential learning is adopted in our school with the hope of promoting our student's cognition, skills and interpersonal relationships.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
|
Learning / Teaching approach and activities

1. “Theme-based Learning” and “Project-based Learning” - To stimulate children to explore voluntarily and build up knowledge through the process of observation, discussion and exploration . We also commended for creating a quality environment and making good use of different facilities in classrooms, to allow interactions between children and teachers. The school attaches great importance to Chinese culture, and sets up moral education month, festival celebration, family filial piety education, daily flag-raising ceremony, etc., to increase the knowledge of Chinese culture and inherit traditional virtues.
2. Specialization: we have foreign teachers, mandarin teachers and conditioning coaches.
3. Children's growth classes : educate children in interpersonal relationship in the process of imitation, projection and hands-on activities.
4. Information technology and multi-media interactive teaching platform.
5. Experiential learning experience, the school arranges children to visit the community to experience life, teachers provide opportunities to explore, observe and practice, such as visiting supermarkets, the Fireboat Alexander Grantham Exhibition Gallery, etc., under the synergy effect of school, family and community, children enhance their independence and independently apply their knowledge to life.
