Curriculum planning
Through ‘project approaching’, the School develops the students’ self-exploration, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills, and train their mathematical logical thinking and self-care abilities through ‘Montessori’.
‘Free play’ is the core development of the course. We allow children to choose the content, playmates, playthings and gameplay freely and let them self-discover, expand and correct to carry out the process of self-learning. The School systematically integrate "Perception" training into the curriculum to expand children's knowledge. Teachers guide children use different "perceptions" to learn and explore actively, internalize learning experience and skills. To develop higher ordered thinking such as reasoning, abstract and critical thinking progressively. The higher ordered thinking can apply in daily life and lay a good learning foundation for children in the future.
Besides, the School values and have both ‘character and academic’ as the development direction. We also focus on life education, and use ‘Bravo’ – the character positive plan, to build a positive life attitude and value.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
1. Project-based learning – drives children to take the initiative to explore, and help them construct knowledge during observation, discussion and practices. 2.
