Curriculum planning
Our school refers to the << Guidelines for Kindergarten Education Curriculum >> (2017), performance indicators, and child development categories. In response to the developmental characteristics of children, we have planned and designed appropriate, comprehensive, and balanced courses. Provide bilingual and trilingual courses, in addition to daily local courses, as well as English and Mandarin courses. Teachers engage in interactive learning based on children's physical and mental development and needs, allowing children to learn through games to consolidate their foundation in bilingual and trilingual learning.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
In the teaching process, through theme based teaching, free game elements, design activities, scientific exploration activities, and artistic creation, children can learn through fun and manipulative activities to enhance their thinking, problem-solving skills, emotional and group development.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
Through classroom learning, we observe the daily activities of young children and their developmental learning, such as language, social, artistic, and character activities. We use continuous observation and recording to evaluate children's learning performance. The school establishes a learning history file for each child and systematically preserves child development records.
