Curriculum planning
Child-centered curriculum tailored in accordance with physical and mental development of children to tie in with their interest in learning, while enriching life experience through exploring different learning domains to lay the foundation of productive childhood learning.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
Thematic instruction and project-based learning is adopted in which children can personally experience and acquire knowledge in the process through games, storytelling, experiments and visits.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
Assessment reports and learning portfolios established through continuous observation to record and analyse children’s learning effectiveness in order to understand and facilitate their physical and mental development.
