Curriculum planning
Our framework is based on the "Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)" of the British national curriculum, and alongside with children's inborn learning ability and curiosity, Mynors provides children with a learning environment focusing on creativity, logical thinking, communication and interactive learning environment. Our programme covers the core areas of Communication and Language, Mathematics and Science, Expressive Art and Design, Physical Development and Moral Education. As English is the main language of instruction, children can build a strong foundation on listening, speaking, reading and writing in English before entering primary school.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
Learning activities are designed based on children's interests and abilities. We put a big emphasis on exploration and discovery in order to trigger children's motivation in learning. Children learn most effectively through ways of thinking, discussion, hands on, records and reports. They can enjoy a rich and meaningful learning at Mynors.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
Through regular observations and records of children's performance, teachers are able to analyze children's development and learning progress. To show the learning progress of children to parents, photos and comments from teachers are included in students’ learning portfolios, which is provided each semester.
