Curriculum planning
|
Our teaching is well balanced with diverse teaching method used to promote all round development and independence. Children learn in a bilingual, stimulation and enabling environment with the aim of learning through self discovery. Our teaching provides real life, sensory experiences enabling our children to gain first hand knowledge. Moral education is emphasised in order to develop the concept of right and wrong in addition to nurturing positive values in our children. We emphasize on both English and Chinese language learning. English and Mandarin lessons are conducted by specialized native speaking teachers.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
