Learning / Teaching approach and activities

Through an open and flexible learning model, we provide diversified and engaging learning-activities to cultivate children’s ability to be autonomous, independent, self-learning and expressive. Our students are encouraged to learn not only academic skills but also life skills and computational thinking techniques in order to form a strong foundation for lifelong learning. By decomposing problems, identifying variables involved using pattern recognition and abstraction, our students create algorithms that will enable them to be more self-sufficient, persevering, patient, optimistic, and to be able to think rationally and adapt to changes with ease. Our partial
immersion program, where English teachers and local teachers co-teach, integrates English-learning into daily life. It offers children the opportunity to establish interest in learning a second language and to build confidence and comfort in communicating with others.

Parents are always welcomed to volunteer and participate in school functions.
