Curriculum planning
The school systematically incorporates "sensory" learning into the curriculum, promoting brain development and enriching children's learning experiences through various sensory activities. This approach broadens their knowledge and guides them to actively use different senses for learning and exploration.Internalizing learning experiences and skills while further developing higher-order thinking abilities such as abstraction, critical thinking, and reasoning. These abilities can be applied in daily life and future learning stages.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
The school adopts a free-play teaching mode, using different sensory stimuli and hands-on experiences to trigger children's self-directed learning and multi-angle thinking. In addition, the "Montessori" teaching aids are used for sensory and mathematical learning and the acquired skills are applied to daily life to enhance abstract thinking abilities.
