Curriculum planning
We adopt child-centered curriculum based on child development needs and the six learning areas suggested by EDB. We offer a wide range of fun and valuable learning experiences to arouse children’s learning interest. Children can develop their self-learning ability and skill necessary for life.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
We apply learning through play and activities to cater children's cognitive, physical and emotional needs. Researching activities and visitings are also arranged to build up children's critical thinking ability and to borden their horizon.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
Continuous assessment will be made on a regular basis to assess children’s development and learning experiences. Written descriptions and checklists will be provided to parents every two months. Telephone call, parent’s meeting and daily communication also help parents understand their children’s learning progress.
School Characteristics
School vision and mission
We provide quality education in “The Love of Christ”, unleash children’s potential and foster their imagination. Students learn to be grateful, loving, forgiving and thrive in an environment of love, and achieve holistic development in all aspects of morality, intelligence, physique, social skills, aesthetic and spirit.
Support to students
To help new entrants adapting to school life, parent-child games week is held. We arrange visits to primary schools and conduct Primary One simulation activities to prepare students for primary school life. Counselling services, organize growth development courses, intervention suggestions and cases referrrals are provided by our school-based social worker, to build up a loving and caring environment.

Other activities / communication with parents
To provide parents a chance to understand children’s learning at school, we organize a variety of activities regularly, e.g., picnic day and class observation. Moreover, home visit and parents workshop are arranged to every family to build up a trust relationship and a communication platform with the kindergarten. Through these efforts, the supporting network between parents is being agglomerated, and parents are united as part of the kindergarten and the church.
